About Us

Fox + Sparrow was started by Kristin Cederholm and Jennifer Langnas. They met 15 years ago working late nights over adjoining workstations at FIT.  Since then, the two remained close friends and continued to share the same design aesthetic.

They launched Fox + Sparrow in 2014. The line offers classic American style along with beautiful European detailing.  All of the clothing is thoughtfully designed and meticulously constructed in New York City.

Jennifer and Kristin pay as much attention to the interior details as the outside appearance. They strive to offer beautiful, quality clothing that can be worn every day.

Kristin Cederholm was born and raised in Stockholm.  She studied fashion design at Esmod in Paris before transferring to FIT and was a children’s wear designer for American Eagle.  She lives in Chelsea with her husband, two daughters, one son, and baby boy.  Jennifer Langnas is a native New Yorker and was a fashion stylist for more than a decade.  She lives in the West Village with her husband and three little girls.
